Get Involved

We should love you to be actively involved at St Peter’s. There are all sorts of opportunities – giving practical help, supporting our magazine, helping with the upkeep of the grounds, with up and coming events or the annual fête or deepening your faith by joining a fellowship group. For details of any of these possibilities, please email Stephen Baldock on info@stpetersoverwallop.co.uk or scroll down this page if you would like to make a gift to the church.

Are you on our Electoral Roll? The roll will be reviewed in March. If you are not on it but live in our parish or worship regularly at St Peter’s, you are most welcome to join it. Please contact Sally Biles, our Electoral Roll Officer, through info@stpetersoverwallop.co.uk or download an application form here

Giving

“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

All financial contributions, big or small, are gratefully received. If you would like to make a gift, you may either click on https://www.parishgiving.org.uk/donors/find-your-parish/over-wallop-hants/ or contact the treasurer as shown in the next paragraph. As you can imagine, the cost of maintaining our church and church hall is considerable and, like all Church of England parishes, we contribute to the wider ministry of the Diocese. The most helpful way of giving to St Peter’s is on a regular basis; the link above facilitates one-off gifts but an alternative is to give by standing order direct to the PCC bank account.

If you would like to talk in confidence about giving or our financial commitments, please contact Janet Baldock, our church treasurer, by email to owpcctreasurer@gmail.com
